FIRE CAM 1080

The ALL NEW 2015 Fire Cam 1080 Fire Helmet Camera™ is the best professional High Definition Fire Helmet Camera we have designed yet! Recording in 1080p (1920 x 1080) AND 720p (1280 x 720) High Definition with a wide angle lens. The main difference between the Fire Cam 1080 and the Fire Cam Mini HD is the chipset / PCB and sensor size. The Fire Cam 1080 and Fire Cam 1080 WIFI have a  1 / 3” HD CMOS with Light Sensitivity: 1.4 V/lux-sec (550nm). What does this mean? It means between the Mini and the 1080 you will get a little sharper image with the Fire Cam 1080 and Fire Cam 1080 WIFI. The size of the camera is only 32mm x 104mm and weighs 4 oz. It can also capture photos which makes it a great tool for investigations. There is a new autosave feature in which the camera records and splits each recording, saving it every 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes (depending on the user setting) for any “just in case” situations. No more worrying if you were able to record footage if something happens to the camera. Built by firefighters, this Fire Camera is made of heat resistant anodized aluminum with heat resistant glass lens specifically designed for interior firefighting. Some more new features include better in low light compared to the old Fire Cam 1080, longer battery life and an option to add the date and time stamp on the video. The camera can also take on temperatures upwards to 900F for short periods of time and 2000F flash temperatures. It is designed for interior firefighting. It is not recommended for concrete training towers or flashover chambers where it could sustain high temps for long periods of time.
